Voter Registration Office in Jefferson County, Indiana.

General Election Day is November 3rd! Polls will be open from 6a-6p!

Polling locations for Election Day:

Early Voting will be at the Jefferson County Courthouse Commissioner's office (1st floor). All registered voters in Jefferson County can take advantage of early voting. There does not have to be a reason to cast an early vote.

Early Voting Dates and times are:

Tuesday, October 6th, 2026, through Friday, October 30th, 2026 - 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Excluding October 12th, 2026, in honor of Columbus Day.

Saturday, October 24th, 2026, and Saturday, October 31st, 2026 - 8:00am – 3:00pm

Monday, November 2nd, 2026 - 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (NOON)

Anyone wanting to have an Absentee Ballot sent to their home can do so by contacting the Voter Registration Office or by going online to indianavoters.com. The deadline for a voter to submit and ABS Application is October 22nd by midnight. The application can be mailed (300 E Main Street) or faxed (812-273-5428) or emailed to elections@jeffersoncounty.in.gov. You can contact the Voter Registration Office at 812-265-8926

Absentee Voting:

Anyone wanting to have an Absentee Ballot sent to their home can do so by contacting the Voter Registration Office or by going online to indianavoters.com.
